I have adjusted the equalizer setting on the Sound Blaster Connect software, turned the volume knob on the subwoofer of both the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 and Sound BlasterX Kratos S3 when I listened to them. The Sound BlasterX Kratos S3 outputs a balanced audio as well in my own opinion. The bass is weaker than the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5. I have listened to the audio output of the Sound BlasterX Kratos S3 as well. I think the reason lies on the frequency response of the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5.is 55Hz to 20kHz. The Sound BlasterX Katana outputs a stronger bass than the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5. I find listening to music on the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 nice but the bass does not seem to be strong for me. The audio output from the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 is more balanced than the Sound BlasterX Katana in my own opinion. I have listened to audio from the Sound BlasterX Katana and the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5. The audio characteristics between the Sound BlasterX Katana and the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 are different.
The similarities between the Sound BlasterX Katana and the Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 are that both speakers can play audio through a USB connection and use the Sound Blaster Connect software.
